Anne Smith Myers, Esq.

Of Counsel

Balancing a love of the arts with recognition of the practical, Anne graduated in 1975 from the University of Wyoming with honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts in French and a minor in theater. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, she went on to attend the University of Denver College of Law, graduating in 1979. She was honored to join this firm in 1980 as its fifth member and first female lawyer, becoming a proud shareholder in the firm in 1983.

After defending large self-insured employers in workers’ compensation matters for more than 34 years, Anne elected to retire in June of 2014 to devote more time to her passion for the arts.  She also continues with the firm in an “of counsel” role, assisting with special projects as needed. She is proud to serve on the board of Denver’s Athena Project, a local non-profit that fosters women’s voices in the arts and on the board of Germinal Stage, a company which has provided exciting cutting edge theatre to Denver for more than 40 years. She also acts wherever and whenever she can. She has been honored to be part of plays produced many Denver theatre companies including the Vintage Theatre, Aurora Fox, Spotlight Theatre, Parker Arts Cultural Events Center, Germinal Stage, and Stagecraft.
