Partner

Tim began his undergraduate education at the University of North Dakota.  After obtaining his pilot’s license in pursuit of a commercial aviation degree, he decided to transfer back to his home state where he completed his education at Colorado State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in management.  Tim rounded out his undergraduate education with minors in economics and Spanish.  After graduating, Tim remained in Fort Collins where he was a department manager at a local background screening firm.  Seeking a change, Tim attended law school and graduated from the University of Denver where he was active on the Water Law Review and Phi Alpha Delta.

Tim joined the firm as a clerk in March of 2008 and was hired as an Associate upon passing the bar in November of 2009.  In the beginning of 2015, Tim was honored to accept a partnership and shareholder position with the firm.  His practice focuses on the defense of employment claims, workers’ compensation defense, municipal defense, and personal injury defense.  He is a member of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, as well as the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations.  Tim maintains an active litigation practice in all levels of Administrative, State and Federal Courts and is licensed to practice by the Colorado Supreme Court, the United States Federal District Court for the District of Colorado, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.  Through his practice, Tim strives to achieve the best possible outcome on all cases, whether such outcome is dismissal, summary judgment, a verdict at hearing or trial, or a settlement in the best interests of his clients.
